FAQ

How do I reserve a spot?

To schedule please contact us through email or text. Make sure to read this FAQ page, sign the wavier (click here) and pay the fee before coming to class.

What if my child is sick?

Please keep the child home and reschedule the lesson. We ask that any dripping, runny nose, or consistent sneezing stay home out of respect to other families. We don’t want the children to share sickness.

What if I am late to class?

Classes start right on time. You can come 5 minutes prior to class to get checked in and wash hands.

What if I am late to pick up?

Please be on time to pick up. We leave a 10 minute pick up window after class as we are a very busy household. Each minute after 10 minutes will be $1 per minute charge. Please text / call if there is an emergency or if you know you will be running late.

Can the siblings join the class?

Yes, you can sign up the siblings as well, but the content of the classes won’t be changed to suit the sibling’s age.

Do you accept charter funds?

Not at the moment, but we are working on becoming a vendor.

What if my child is allergic to certain food?

Please let us know even though the dish that we are making that day doesn’t seem to contain the allergic component, our kitchen could have that component.

What does my child need to bring?

For 1 hour class, our kitchen has drinking water and aprons, but you are welcome to bring your own water bottle or apron. For Kids’ club, we have snack time and lunch time, please pack them some nutritional food.

Birthday

We want the children to develop friendships through the classes, especially in Kids’ club. We will have a little celebration for birthday stars.

What if my child gets hurt in class?

For minor cuts and bumps, we use cold pad, heat pad or bandaids. We will also inform you through text. We may call you if the child is unable to calm down. For emergencies, we will call 911.

Can I stay in class with my child?

We encourage children to interact with each other instead of clinging to parents. If your child needs some adjustment, it’s ok for you to stay behind for a few extra minutes.
